The Final Senior Performing Arts Spotlight of the Year

Senior School

06 June 2025

On Thursday 22 May, the Senior Hall came alive with creativity and confidence as students from Years 7 to 10 took to the stage for our final Senior Performing Arts Spotlight of the academic year. It was a truly uplifting evening, with each performance reflecting the dedication, imagination, and talent nurtured across the Performing Arts at EHS.

From stirring vocal solos and elegant instrumental pieces to compelling dramatic duologues and dynamic dance routines, the breadth of performance on display was outstanding. Audiences were treated to everything from Shakespeare to Chappell Roan, from Mascagni to Miranda, each performed with poise and passion.

What was particularly inspiring was the maturity and artistry shown by our younger performers. Students from Years 7 to 10 stepped confidently into the spotlight, showing remarkable skill and expression beyond their years. The future of Performing Arts at EHS is undeniably bright, and this concert offered a thrilling glimpse of the talent still to come.

As ever, we are deeply grateful to our Visiting Music Teachers and to the staff in the Music, Drama, and Dance departments for their encouragement and expert guidance. Their support ensures that every EHS girl is empowered to find her voice, share her story, and shine.

Congratulations to all who took part in what has been a truly memorable evening. This final Spotlight of the year celebrated everything we value at EHS, Ambition, Creativity, Compassion, and Confidence, and reminded us once again why the arts matter.
