In a crescendo of talent and passion, the sounds of the Senior Musician of the Year House Competition final echoed through the corridors of EHS. The air was alive with anticipation as students, parents, and staff gathered to witness the culmination of months of dedication and practice. Under the discerning eye of judge Sara Wilander, the stage was set for an unforgettable showcase of musical prowess that did not disappoint.

House Captains and Deputies: Masters of Ceremony
The House Captains and Deputies took centre stage as the evening's hosts. With grace and charm, they guided the audience through each performance, setting the perfect tone for an evening of musical excellence. Their commitment to fostering a spirit of camaraderie and achievement within their respective houses deserves commendation.

A Triumphant Finale: Congratulations to St Francis
Amidst the competition, one house rose above the rest to claim the coveted title of Overall Winner. St Francis emerged triumphant, showcasing the true essence of musical excellence and teamwork. Well done to St Francis!

The Maestro of the Evening: Hilary Cheng
In a performance that resonated with soul-stirring emotion and technical brilliance, Hilary Cheng emerged as the undisputed Maestro of the evening. With her virtuoso rendition of Andante Opus 75 by Faure, she captivated the hearts and minds of all in attendance.

Accompanists Extraordinaire: Mrs O’Malley and Mrs Howell
Behind every great performance lies the steady hand of a skilled accompanist – step forward Mrs O’Malley and Mrs Howell. Their artful collaboration with each contestant elevated every note and melody, enriching the musical tapestry of the evening. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them for their dedication and unwavering support.

Acknowledging the Pillars of Support
This event wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our staff. We extend our sincerest appreciation to Mr Southall, Mr Pepper, Mr Chamberlain, and Mrs Larner for their invaluable contributions to the success of the Senior Musician of the Year House Competition final. Their guidance, expertise, and unwavering support have been instrumental in nurturing the talents of our students and enriching our school community.
