A Taste of Kindergarten

At this time of year we like to start preparing girls for the year ahead with opportunities to experience time in their next year’s classroom. This makes the transition, when it happens much easier for the girls and gives them a sense of excitement about the new adventures ahead.
On Tuesday morning of this week the Kindergarten teachers welcomed Nursery girls into their classrooms. Here they enjoyed making maracas out of Easter eggs which they then used to accompany their singing of ‘Five Currant Buns’ and other songs and rhymes.
The girls also fully explored the classrooms and were keen to investigate many new activities. They are looking forward to visiting again next term.
