British Council Intermediate Award for Prep

We had the pleasure of sharing with you last January (2024) that EHS Prep had received the International School Award Foundation Level in Prep for introducing internationalism.
We are once again delighted to announce that we have been awarded the next level, the International Schools Award Intermediate Level for developing internationalism. To achieve this, we had to demonstrate collaboration with other schools by writing French pen pal letters, as well as increasing awareness of ‘La Francophonie’ (French-speaking countries and culture).
In addition to this, our French Specialist (Madame Hennous) recently received the Primary French Teacher Award 2024 and as a result has been invited to contribute to the Association for Language Learning webinar, sharing her innovative teaching ideas with other professionals.
With International Mother Language Day still to be celebrated at the end of February, this is an exciting time for languages in Prep and within the wider school and
community.
