Good Luck Year 13!

Sixth Form

16 May 2025

Last week, we shared an incredibly fun week with Year 13 celebrating their final days in school before they head into their A Level examinations. And, what a week it was!

The week kicked off with an outstanding leavers assembly, brilliantly organised by the Leadership Team alongside Year 13 themselves. The assembly was full of surprises – not just from the Leadership Team but their own year groups too. A touching thank you from Year 13 to their leadership team for their service to both their year groups and the wider school community was a particularly special moment.

The music video starring Year 13 was a particular highlight and fun part of the assembly, whilst the memories video resulted in lots of tears from staff and students alike.

During their leavers assembly the year group talked about their dress-up themes for the rest of the week, and in true EHS style, Year 13 really went for big and bold outfit choices throughout the week. It was clear to all that this was a well-planned and much anticipated part of their celebration week.

Mid-way through the week, the girls enjoyed a fun day at the field and used the opportunity to take plenty of photos with their friends and topping if off with a well-deserved ice cream for everyone.

The week wrapped up in style with the much-loved annual 'Leavers Breakfast' on Friday. A huge choice of breakfast was available for the girls to enjoy as they took the opportunity to thank staff for their involvement in every step of their senior school journey. Of course, no occasion would be complete without more photos – this time outside the front of school.

It truly was a fun-filled week with memories that will last a lifetime. We wish them all the best of luck in their examinations and look forward to being reunited with Year 13 at their Prizegiving afternoon on Friday 27 June.
