Silver D of E Practice Expedition

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) is a challenging and rewarding program that helps young people develop their skills, confidence, and sense of achievement. A practice expedition is an important part of the Silver DofE, as it gives participants the opportunity to test their skills and experience in a real-world setting.
Last weekend, a group of intrepid pupils embarked on a Silver DofE practice expedition in the Forest of Dean. The weather was perfect, with clear skies and warm sunshine. The group set off early in the morning, and soon found themselves hiking through some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK. The views were stunning, and the fresh air was invigorating.
The group made good progress, successfully navigating their way around the heart of the Forest of Dean. By the end of the day, the group was tired but happy, having completed their practice expedition and learned much about themselves and their abilities.
Having completed their practice, the group are confident and looking forward to starting their real Silver D of E expedition, which will take place later in the year.
