This week, girls in Years 3 and 5 have combined their skills in several curriculum areas to film a French café scene and fashion show using the Green Screen technology.
Year 3 performed a French Café conversation in a virtual French Café. They had lots of fun using the props and dressing up to get into character. This was an exciting way to reinforce vocabulary learning.
Year 5 paraded on the catwalk whilst describing their attire in French. They modelled a fashion accessory brought in from home alongside their uniform.These accessories included handbags, sunglasses, headbands, coats and berets to name but a few. It certainly would rival any Paris Fashion Week show.
The girls are excited to see the finished product complete with background and atmospheric music.
The Green Screen certainly did allow us to visit France without having to set foot outside England. Move over Coco Chanel and Brigitte Bardot, EHS girls are hot on your heels.
