Violet Hits the Mark at National Championships

In a display of skill and determination, Year 11 student Violet made a significant impact at the national indoor Archery championships held at the end of last year.
Competing in the Senior category, Violet not only exceeded her personal best but also secured a joint 17th position, an impressive climb from her initial qualification at 31st place, highlighting her command of the sport and demonstrating her ability to perform under pressure.
On Sunday, she continued to make her mark as she participated in the Junior competition, proudly representing England. She was two points shy of her personal best in the morning session and then faced an anxious wait during the second session to learn about her final standing.
As the results of the second session were announced, Violet was delighted to be placed 2nd in her category and an impressive 4th overall.
Congratulations, Violet! We look forward to hearing more as the season continues.
