Whoops-a-Daisy Angel!

After several weeks of rehearsal the day finally arrived for the Westbourne performance of Whoops-a-Daisy Angel!  Excited parents and friends gathered in the Octagon ready for the performance which did not disappoint.

The girls took to the stage with the Reception narrators telling the Nativity story throughout with confident clear storytelling.  The Whoops-a-Daisy Angel was sad because she was never given a responsible job until she was the one who told everyone of the birth of the special baby.

Each of the scenes was accompanied by a song which the girls sang very well and with smiling faces.  It was clear that they had worked really hard to learn all of the words and each one brought louder applause from the audience.

Using the Octagon for this performance has been a good experience for the children. Not only have they seen new parts of the school but have worked in an environment that is so much bigger than their classroom.  

Westbourne girls certainly sparkled and shone in their performance of ‘Whoops-a-Daisy Angel!’ and everyone left with lovely memories for the day ahead.
