Netball and Family Day: Final Chance to Book

Laurels Association

17 June 2023

With just two weeks until our Netball Versatility and Family Day on Saturday 1 July plans are shaping up for a fun and informal day at the field.

Following the AGM (optional), we begin proceedings at 11am. Sit back and relax while the children are entertained with the bouncy castle and Gruffalo Trail. Bring your camping chairs, picnic blankets and, of course, your own picnic to enjoy before indulging in some afternoon tea style treats laid on by the EHS catering team.

Anyone game for a laugh can join in with our fun Netball Versatility Tournament organised by Chris Evans, aka former Head of PE Mrs Evans. This is suitable for players of all ability, perfect if you aren’t sure where you are best suited, or if you’ve always fancied having a go at shooting over defending!  Players will be put into randomly-assigned groups of seven before competing in a series of 5-minute matches, so come along and have a go - you’ll be certain to have fun and work up an appetite! We are happy to match players up into teams so do come along if you're interested and there are only one or two of you.

Itinerary for the Day
10.30 – 11am - AGM (Optional).
11 – 12.30am - Netball Versatility Event and children’s activities - Gruffalo Trail, bouncy castle and ice cream van.
12.30 – Picnic and lunch
2pm – Close

We would like an idea of final numbers so if you are thinking of coming, now is your last chance to book! Tickets are priced at £7.50 per person with under 16s going free. Price includes a range of delicious refreshments. Book online via Ticketsource
