Chemists secure new equipment
02 December 2016
This week, our Year 13 chemists have had the opportunity to experiment with a new piece of equipment bought for the School.
The hydrogen electrode allows students to have a reference electrode for use in constructing electrochemical cells.
The electrode was bought using some of the money that the chemistry department has been given in prize money over previous years. The hard work of our chemistry students who have won national competitions has enabled the department to benefit from this relatively new technology which will be used by other EHS students for many years to come.
