The course is divided into two parts:

AS Examination

- An introduction to Ethics and Religion by considering ethical theories in relation to the issues of abortion and euthanasia.

- The Philosophy and Science module tries to reconcile scientific theories about creation with the accounts found in religious writings and considers some arguments about the existence of God, miracles and the implications of quantum mechanics.

A2 Examination

-Philosophy of Religion
- Life, Death and Beyond

Entry Requirements:

If GCSE Religious Studies has been taken a Grade A is required. A willingness to consider different issues from a number of viewpoints is equally important. For those who have not undertaken a GCSE course, a minimum of a Grade A in English is preferred.
