Latin provides an interesting study for those who enjoy languages and/or are interested in the Classical world. Classics provide an excellent all-round training in language, analytical thinking, cultural understanding and literary appreciation.

AS Examination

A2 Examination

A2 Unit L3:Latin Verse
A2 Unit L4: Latin Prose

Entry Requirements: 

Normally a Grade A or above in GCSE Latin and Grade B or above at GCSE English Literature (literature is an essential element of the course); or by individual negotiation with Classics staff.
