Biology
Examination Board: AQA Biology
Biology has an ever present impact on our daily lives through issues such as disease, DNA testing, genetic modification and ecological concerns. In studying AS and A2 Biology you will gain an understanding of the science behind many of these topical issues. You will build on the understanding which has been gained at GCSE and develop this through discussion, presentation, practical sessions and data analysis.
Three units are studies in Year 12 which leads to an AS qualification and a further three units in Year 13 which leads to an A2 qualification.
