OGA RECEPTION AT THE HOUSE OF LORDS - 8 MAY 2008

house_of_lords_large.thumb2The Old Girls' Association was treated to a wonderful evening at the House of Lords on 8 May 2008 as the guest of Lord Shutt of Greetland. Lord Shutt has been a life peer for 8 years and is the Liberal Democrat Chief Whip in the Lords - and the father-in-law of Mrs Shutt who teaches ICT in Senior School!

Over 70 Old Girls, former and current staff, governors and the Head Girl and Deputy gathered in the Peers' Dining Room for an evening of joyful reunions - some after as long as 20 years - and comparing of notes on school traditions, teachers, uniform and food!

WELCOME TO NEW MEMBERS

alowresalevels.thumbThe Association is delighted to welcome the following new members to the OGA following their departure from School in July 2008. Most are now settled at university or on a gap year and we look forward to seeing them at Old Girls events scheduled to take place in Birmingham, London and elsewhere in future months.
