The Onatti Theatre company came into school to perform « La Chambre de Jean-Paul » on Thursday 11th February. Onatti have already been to the school to perform plays in German and Spanish. This French play was to pupils in Years 8 to 11; those in Years 10 and 11 could understand just about everything whilst pupils in Years 8 and 9 found it a little harder, but nevertheless the plot was not too difficult to follow: Jean-Paul is a typical teenager who wants to attract the attention of a particular girl. Being rather a geek, he needs help.
Enter a number of girls (all played by the same actress) who will give him tips on how to look cool with the girls. All was rather exaggerated as you can imagine, but fun nevertheless. Furthermore, several EHS extras were called upon to play the guitar, dance and help out.
We are looking forward to Onatti's next visit on Thursday 11th March when they will be performing to Years 5,6 and 7.
