Below is an update of the development:

Undercroft

Work continues in this area, with partitioning being erected and preparation work for the installation of new electrical points, lighting & ventilation etc.

Library

Only minor works are being carried out in this area as this part of the building is dependent on structural works to the ground floor.

Atrium

Internal demolition works are now underway; the old reception, visitors' WC, Admin kitchen & Conference room have all had walls removed in readiness for the new layout.

Steel piles are starting to be driven into the ground at the front of the school to a depth of approx 4m. These piles will be the supports for the structural steels which will carry the new floors etc.
