This week we harvested the first spring harvests of radish and spinach at the school allotment. These were sown in March. Just 8 weeks later there is a healthy crop of bright red radish roots and fresh young leaves! We picked the radish, washed them and then tasted them. Though their flavour was not universally liked, their colour and freshness were a hit.
