Welcome to the Old Girls Association's section of the website.

My name is Celia Bell. After leaving EHS I left Birmingham for 5 years to live in Oxford and London. I returned in 1979 to marry my husband.

We have lived in Harborne for 32 years and have three children, two boys and one girl, all of whom were educated in Edgbaston. Our youngest daughter was Head Girl of the Preparatory school from 2000-2001.

I have been on the Old Girls Committee for 18 years and last year was pleased to be asked to take over as Chairman.

My aim is to carry on the hard work of my predecessor and to endeavour to encourage younger old girls to attend our events. Therefore, I would value any suggestions or advice that would boost participation of our younger members.
